Long Exposures in the RAW

I recently found that taking long exposures in the RAW format does not just ensure excellent quality, but also, if you shoot RAW there is no in camera processing time after the picture. Sometimes when I would shoot long exposures in JPEG format, it would take about just as long to process the picture as it did to take the picture. So yeah, shoot RAW
